According to Yonhap News,
Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone(GFEZ) forecasts that it can easily realize its goal of attracting over USD 10 billion of investment this year.
The GFEZ said that it has attracted USD 9.2 billion worth of investment so far this year.
It attracted USD 8.8 billion of investment from 109 companies, and investment from SNNC adds the amount to USD 9.2 billion.
The GFEZ attributed its robust performance to its efforts to attract machinery, steel, and marine plant industries.
