According to Yonhap News,

Korea Southern Power Corporation said that it signed MOU with Gwangyang city in South Jeolla Province for promoting the photovoltaic industry.

Under the MOU, Gwangyang city will provide administrative support, and Korea Southern Power Corporation will be in charge of photovoltaic business.

With generation capacity of 5MW, Gwangyang city plans to generate 18MWh of clean energy a day for the next 20 years.
