According to Yonhap News,
Jeonnam-do (South Jeolla Province) said on April 15th it signed export agreements worth USD 2.2 million at an export seminar which was attended by buyers from six countries including Japan, China, Canada, and Australia.
At the seminar, 60 Jeonnam companies exporting agricultural and marine products concluded export contracts for citron tea, green tea, ramen, Korean traditional sweets and cookies, processed plums, melon, mackerel, and processed abalone.
Director Bae Taek-hyu of the Economy and Trade Division of Jeonnam said “the seminar achieved substantial results, though mostly new buyers had export consultations,” and added “we will hold export seminars for foreign buyers in June and October.”
