Yeongam-gun to Create Green Buffer Zone in Daebul

According to Yonhap News,
Yeongam-gun, Jeonnam-do (South Jeolla Province) said on October 19th that it would create a green buffer zone (46,000 m2) in the residential area in Sampo-ri, Samho-eup and Daegul National Industrial Complex by 2013. A total of KRW 5 billion will be invested.
Around 16,000 trees of about 30 species including a thorn, a tulip poplar, and a silver magnolia will be planted in the zone in the type of double-storied forests.
This year, land preparation work will be conducted on the area of 10,700 m2 in Nanjeon-ri, Samho-eup. The project will start in earnest next year with about 4,000 trees planted in the zone.
